Daniel Villatoro loves identifying opportunities to exploit his knowledge on AI and data mining to provide innovative and imaginative solutions to both existing problems and new unperceived challenges. Daniel brings a balance between his scientific commitment to problem resolution with his knowledge of engineering tools to provide with functional and efficient working prototypes. The work developed during his PhD thesis at the IIIA-CSIC resulted in two different awards (IFAAMAS-11 Victor Lesser Distinguished Dissertation Award and Outstanding PhD Thesis - UAB Computer Science Department), result from his hard work and research stays at different international centers (King's College London, the ISTC-CNR, and the University of Tulsa).
